Using Climate Change Scenarios to Explore Management at Isle Royale National Park


This report uses the National Park Service Scenario Planning technique.

This is characterized by looking at PLAUSIBLE futures, as opposed to probable or likely futures.   Then it looks at a set of management decisions in that plausible future.  

The process followed here led us to think about variability, especially the Arctic Oscillation.   The information about mean changes had relatively little influence on the outcomes of the planning process.
