Climate Change

A change in the state of the climate that exists for an extended period of time, usually decades or longer. This change can be identified by changes in the properties of climate (temperature, sea level, etc.) using appropriate testing. Although climate change is usually attributed to human interaction, either directly or indirectly, the Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) notes that climate change results from human activity in addition to climate variability that can be attributed to natural causes/
