Downscaled data: “The scenarios were constructed by combining
time-series of global warming and patterns of change from GCMs with the baseline climate and
sub-centennial variability from the observed record.”
Mitchell et al. 2003

Under Data/High resolution gridded data:
- TYN SC 2.0 at 0.5deg, global projections data

Precip, temp, clouds, vapor pressure, diurnal temp range;

- TYN CY 2.0 and 3.0 – projections for countries,
2.0 – precip and temp;
3.0 -  also diurnal temp range, vapor pressure and clouds;
- country averages;

- daily for the ave by country data
- monthly for the global

- global and countries;

5 GCMs – CGCM2, CSIRO mk2, DOE PCM, HadCM3, ECHAM4,

(A1FI, A2, B2, B1)

- follow directions to download data from directories with files; entire global data set is available;

Data in ASCII

- have developed a consistent form of identification for these data-sets to provide greater clarity to users;

- more information about the data sets is available in Mitchell et al, 2003

- description of method and visualization

- some guidance about the data set, downscaling procedure and how to download the data.

This resource contains two downscaled climate projections datasets.
